Micaela
M.S., CCC-SLP
Micaela earned her Master of Science degree from Sacred Heart University and is passionate about supporting functional communication in children while helping families build meaningful, everyday communication skills. She values individualized, functional, and family-centered therapy and enjoys working with clients across the lifespan.
Her clinical interests include AAC support, pediatric feeding difficulties and picky eating, early intervention with infants and young children, and working with adults with dysphagia, voice disorders, and cognitive-communication deficits. Micaela is committed to ongoing professional growth and plans to continue advancing her clinical expertise through continuing education, with a particular focus on AAC for both pediatric and adult populations. She also plans to pursue LSVT certification and specialized training in dysphagia management across the lifespan to further support individuals with complex communication and swallowing needs.
Outside of work, Micaela enjoys spending time with her family, including her husband and son, and prioritizes staying active while maintaining a healthy work–life balance. Growing up with two deaf grandparents, Micaela learned sign language at a young age—an experience that deeply inspired her lifelong passion for communication and connection.
