16-week Social Skills Group

The PEERS® (Program for the Education and Enrichment of Relational Skills) program is an evidence-based social skills training program for teens and young adults who struggle with making and keeping friends. Designed for individuals with Autism, ADHD, Anxiety, or other social challenges, PEERS® teaches concrete skills for navigating social interactions in a fun, structured, and supportive environment. Through role-playing, group practice, and real-life homework assignments, participants—and their caregivers—learn tools to build meaningful friendships, manage conflict, handle peer rejection, and improve overall social confidence. This program includes 16 engaging group sessions that cover a broad range of topics that strengthen the social skills of the participant.

The PEERS® curriculum specifically teaches the listed below skills.:

  • How to use appropriate conversational skills.

  • How to appropriately use electronic communication.

  • How to start, enter, and exit conversations with peers.

  • How to choose appropriate peers.

  • How to organize successful get-togethers.

  • How to find a source of friends.
