About the Event
We are excited to offer you our 4-week (1 month) Handwriting Support Series, a small group 1 hour class for children ages 6-8 years old. These classes are led by occupational therapists / occupational therapy assistants with tailored support to improve handwriting skills with a focus on fine motor, visual motor and gross motor improvement, for those with and without learning differences. Children will get a mix of large gross motor movement gym-play and specific skill-based instruction and activity exposure that target handwriting performance skills. Most importantly, our classes make handwriting fun and engaging through creative games, hands-on activities, and movement-based learning—so children build skills while staying motivated and confident, not just practicing writing.
Ages: 6-8 years old (open to children with and without learning differences)
Session Length: 1 hour, 4- week series
Location: Shelton Clinic
Time: 4:30-5:30pm
