Tegan

Tegan is a Speech-Language Pathologist and Director of our Speech-Language Department who is passionate about helping children find their voice and feel confident communicating with the world around them. She earned her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Southern Connecticut State University and specializes in working with pediatric populations.

Tegan has a particular interest in autism spectrum disorder (ASD), language development, and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). She loves the creativity and connection that come with pediatric therapy and believes that every child has unique strengths, interests, and ways of communicating. Her goal is to help children develop functional communication skills, become more independent, and feel empowered to express themselves across everyday settings.

Outside of work, Tegan is a busy mom to two teenage boys, three dogs, and a flock of chickens! When she's not keeping up with her family and animals, she enjoys reading, gardening, and spending time outdoors—especially relaxing by the lake. One of her most memorable adventures was rafting the Grand Canyon!
