Makayla is an enthusiastic Behavior Technician attending the University of New Haven, currently pursuing her studies in Forensic Psychology on the pre-med track. She thrives on exploring diverse perspectives surrounding mental health and its intersections with the criminal justice system. With aspirations to attend medical school, Makayla aims to become a psychiatrist specializing in juvenile detention centers, where she can make a meaningful impact on young lives. Outside of her academic and professional endeavors, Makayla finds solace in artistic pursuits such as painting, immersing herself in literature, and enjoying video games.
