Micaela is a well rounded speech-language pathologist holding a Master of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Sacred Heart University. Her career is driven by a profound desire to help others, particularly children, in the realms of articulation and receptive/expressive language. She finds fulfillment in working with individuals affected by Parkinson's disease or those recovering from strokes. Eager to broaden her expertise, Micaela aspires to undergo training as a brain injury specialist and become certified in PROMPT techniques. Outside of her professional pursuits, she treasures moments with her fiancé, family, and friends. Micaela maintains a balanced lifestyle by dedicating time to the gym and indulging in activities like shopping. Growing up with two deaf grandparents, she learned sign language, fostering her appreciation for communication in all its forms.
